Slayer Heavy Metal Leather Armor, 92% completed

Still need to update:
replace the Metalucifer patch to Perditism,
Replace the Raped God 666 patch to Sepultura,
Replace the Incubus patch to Mayhem,
and put all the rest pins on the vest.
Rearrange the back bottom of the vest, to hold two more round patches,
rearrange the Entombed and Deicide on the back, and put two more round Death Metal patch between Archgoat and Sabbat,
Sewing Violent Force and Midnight patches on the back shoulders,
Sewing the Nunslaughter and Massacra and maybe more patches on the sides space.

I honestly think it's already 100% completed, packing it even more might look weird but it's proved you're a "vest architect" and the way you always sort your vest out is worthy of admiration!

But once again, I'd like to suggest not attaching anything between Archgoat and Sabbat, leave the chain showing that way!

Yeah ofcourse I didn't expect Metalheads to be extinct. There are groups of every subculture in every country in the world. How do people react to you then, since there aren't many I suppose a Kutte isn't an common sight on the streets. I wonder why China doesn't have that much Metalheads like you, it's not because it's in Asia and Metalheads are only in Europe/America. Since as far as I know Japan, India and even Indonesia have quite big Metalscenes.

the government doesn't allow selling metal stuffs, as they consider it to be disharmonious. and due to historical reasons, we separated ourselves with other capitalist world so there's a huge culture gap. very few minority of ppl just started to know metal by picking up various craked tapes, mixed with all music junks abandoned by western countries importing to China in the 90s. and till now though metal is still forbidden, the group gets bigger and bigger.
As for metal kutte, i wore it once on the street, ppl looked at me and avoided me like a robber.

good question, this is quite funny indeed. for most gigs we only hold them in rather small bars which holds less than 300 ppl, so it doesn't require that high administrative approval, and the gig holder cheated the government with Linkin Park's MV and lyrics to avoid "disharmony" troubles.
But if Slayer or Iron Maiden comes to China, u got to bribe the officials, or just let them play in a tiny bar!

i sew every pins with double strong threads in various key positions to hold them, so i think it's more than secure!

no, due to lack of knowledge, most Chinese regard metal as part of rock, but if they dig into it deeper ppl will freak out seeing those dark and gore stuffs. So at the border no one will check your stuffs that carefully, it's ok then.

dude, i can't see the point "one kutte is better than another" or worse than another, kutte is all personal taste. like i love Cruel Force and Sabbat but maybe u won't, which doesn't indicate that mine is better.
For those "rare and expensive and limited" pieces of cloth, i bring them here on my vest purely out of collection. a red border RIB and black border RIB makes no difference at all! a nowaday BBB and the old red border dark blue background red pattern BBB will show exactly the same dedication to Exodus, it's just the matter of which design and rarity u prefer to pursue. i respect your taste man, but i can't say yours is better than mine (though i have a typical popular metal taste :).

naww dude. relax. what i meant is that your jacket's pretty much one of the best on this site. so it has inspired me to start collecting patches to make a jacket similar to yours, but more reflective of my own taste. so it will be kinda like yours in a way but slightly more BM oriented...

i'm still in the midst of moving so its kinda messy in my house now. but gimme a bit and i'll take more photos of my patch collection so far. its grown by quite a lot!

Because I'm a freak!
Because everytime u can only wear one vest, not multiple. So I want every patch and design the best on a vest. I wanna concentrate all my efforts on one thing, I don't wanna see 2 good patches scattered on different vests.
Though being selective and picky is painful, the result is always satisfying because the essence and my top fav are there. And having carefully Tetrised the whole thing the result offers a sense of great accomplishment.

China isn't Germany (nobody would call the police), but here a lot of people, who have problems with such an outfit, too. And people don't know, what Metal is and have prejudices gainst metalheads. I think the situation is now better than in the 90s. Nowdays you can see documentarys about Wacken in the TV (that's good and bad), but I would say Wacken is not "real Metal" or nowadays a "real Metal festival", but people think all metalheads (there are nowadays a lot of "festival tourists") are so, when they see them in the TV.
