Dissection Storm Of The Light's Bane Battle Jacket (MDF2014)

This is my new battle jacket, which I wore last weekend to Maryland Deathfest 2014. At the festival, I was lucky enough to get the vest's interior autographed by Martin van Drunen and Stefan Hüskens of Asphyx; Jonas Björler, Anders Björler, and Tompa Lindberg of At The Gates; and Ncturno Culto of Darkthrone (who was performing with Sarke, making his North American live debut).

All the patches on this vest are officially licensed except for the Entombed LHP circle, and the Beherit and Urfaust back patches. All studded and hand sewn by me including the leather moto collar, which I adapted from the original traditional collar.

I got it on eBay -- if you just search eBay for "Urfaust backpatch" you should be able to find it but if not let me know and I'll give you the name of the guy whole sold it to me!

Yes, I know you're not alone in that opinion; I personally like the way it makes the patches stand out but I understand too why some people don't care for it.

Yeah I sometimes think black patches get lost on a black vest, so I like the way the white stitching makes them stand out. But I could see how people think it's distracting or too busy.

I won it in an eBay auction -- you can still buy the bootleg sublimated backpatch but I think the official Nuclear Blast version is out of print.

Haha yeah a lot of people hate the white thread (it's actually dental floss). I've done it both ways in the past and I just like the way it looks! But I can't blame anyone who prefers the darker thread.

Usually I'm not too fond of white threading..but it's done really well here, alongside some great patch choices.
Urfaust and Forteresse are getting the flames though !
