This was a great show BTW. The band had not performed together in many years, and they put on a full concert for this Convention. Stryper have this weird cult following, not unlike Kiss. There were merchandise sales, Stryper costumes on display, a new Stryper book being sold, autograph signings, and tons of bands opening up the show including Oil, Joshua, Disciple, Sin Dizzy, Ultimatum, etc. The Stryper show was recorded and released on VHS tape, in very limited quantities.

I saw Vektor just two days ago! I mostly only knew the name before I saw them, but they were excellent so I bought a t-shirt and Black Future which is indeed outstanding! (I'll post the t-shirt soon.) There weren't patches for sale at this show or I would've definitely bought one.

I don't know if I look good or not. I may look like an idiot, but I just wear old pairs of pants that don't fit well anymore and they seem like they work fine.

Well, so far I've heard only one newer song, "Hiking Metal Punks", which is a pretty fucked up song, but I like it. From what I read, they constantly went more old school and reduced the "classic" black metal more and more. Musically it doesn't have much to do anymore with the stuff from A Blaze... etc., what remains is mainly that they do what the want and don't care about anybody's opinion... Just read any review from a newer album and you will see (the reviewer will most likely either love it or hate it).

I suppose it's because I had such high expectations for it. I thought "The Cult is Alive" was a fuckin' sweet release, and then I was a little disappointed when I heard "F.O.A.D." I've kept it around and I pop it in my cd player every now and then to see if I might change my mind about it but to no avail. I just don't like it. I'm afraid to check out anything after that cd because of it. Are the new ones any good? As in, different from this one?
