Why is merch in general so low quality now?
See attached pictures - a 90s Dark Tranquillity shirt design and an official reprint from 2026. Why is it considered acceptable for major bands to regularly release sub-bootleg quality merch at high prices? It’s so disappointing to see this crap, I loved this design and was so happy to see it was in print again but this print just sucks. This is a regular thing now too, it’s to the point where if I get something like this in the mail I just immediately file a Paypal claim and return it.
