It looks more oldschool and it has no black border, but the colors look really dull on the picture, and I don't know if that's the because of the patch or just the photo.
Has anyone any experience with these backpatches? There are many of these from other bands, there on ebay and I saw these on the abyss records website, as well. (Might be the same seller, actually)
I have seen tons of speedy promotion Hellfire's Dominion backpatches here in Germany. The quality seems to be pretty good.
I have some doubts about the Abyss one as it is, first of all, a bootleg. There are no big amounts produced, so a "real", good quality (long lasting, bright colours, etc.) print would be gainless.
Well, I don't doubt the quality of the speedy BP... I mainly want to know if the color of these patches is as faded as on the picture or if it's a photographic effect (the normal BPs like the one from speedy reflect light better and so look brighter on the photo, I suppose).
Arguments FOR the bootleg would be that not everyone has it (as you said, you've seen tons of the other), and it hasn't a black border and looks oldschool...
Maybe I'll just give it a shot, it costs less than three big beers incl. shipping, so in the worst case it'll be a nice picture on the wall.
I gave it a shot and received it today, and I'm totally satisfied. The artwork is not as sharp as the standard backpatches, but that doesn't make a difference if you're more than half a meter away. And the dull colors were really only a problem of the picture, not of the BP itself. It also isn't "plastic" as it may look like on the photos, but the quality is great. I may upload a picture were the colors are well visible when I get hand of my camera...
Bad news: I sewed the BP on and wore it last night, and now I'll already remove it. The kutte over the leather jacket was lying of a sofa bench in a bar, people half sitting on it so that it was kneaded quite well. The patch and the black border around it already disconnected in one place so that there's a fissure of several centimeters, and because the BP is quite stiff it now isn't that flat anymore but all wrinkly.
I'll remove it and hang it on the wall, at least it looks great and will make an awesome wall picture. I'll make a new backpatch out of an Overkill shirt I just ordered, it will be huge and awesome.
i got a back patch at abyss records(kreator terrible certainty) and when it came in the mail it already was a dissapointment because the backpatch was folded in half to fit the package and whe i unfolded it,it was all wrinkled in the middle, 2 days after i just pinned it on my wall and cut up a shirt and got a better back patch

I know it does on the picture, what I want to know is how these are in reality (surely someone here has (at least seen) such a BP).
