I'm from the high deserts of the American Southwest. Late to live music and collecting. My first concert wasn't until I was 19 and I was shithead with horrendous taste. Approaching two decades later I'm still a shithead but now I have even fucking worse taste. Hell yeah.
I try to make it to at least one show per week. I've forgotten more sets than most non-metalheads will attend in their entire lives. As far as festivals, I've only ever attended the touring fests like Mayhem, Rockstar, Ozzfest, Warped etc. Does shit like Summer Slaughter count as a festival? Tons of those types of packages, but I never really considered them full festivals. That said, it's a (poor man's pipe)dream to checklist a bunch of the real festivals, especially: MDF, NWTF, FITM, Prophecy, and at least one Hospital Fest.
