Tommys' Battle Jacket - completed at last.

NIGHTRIDER
Fri, 30/01/2015 - 23:45

Tommy is my 16 and a half years old son - second generation metalist - grew up on metal and rock 'n' roll.
Took ages to finish - sawing the linning was a challenge by itself.
All the pockets are functional - it was a bitch but it was worth the time and effort.
The back is a tribute to British metal - and the same goes for the linning.

This one done and finished - the new project is gonna start soon - a camo Battle Jacket.

Please forgive me for not making it to your standards - I am in tears here for letting you down ! Please do give me guidelines for my next project and I promise to follow them to the letter - you can not imagine how bad I feel right now... I made it thinking that you will like it - again my sincere apologies for letting you down - it will never happen again.
By the way, do you know what DILLIGAF means ? :)

LifeOfDeath's picture

Are you serious??? He just expressed his opinion. He wasn't even rude or anything and you get pissed off. Grow up...

That being said, I'm not a fan of this vest either.

You uploaded an item on a website with a rating system, and you expect not to get negative opinions?

2
NIGHTRIDER's picture

Wow - you got a serious problem if you do not understand humor.
As for you not a fan of this vest - do you really think I give a fuck ?
I made it for my son - whatever you like or not does not interest me - he likes it and wears it - that is what matters to me.

C'mon... You could at least try to learn some manners.

What is the point of the rating system and comments, if people can't tell their honest opinion about items here? No, I don't even expect you to give a fuck, why should you? But you don't need to get all hot-headed if someone doesn't praise everything you post here.

Humor... right. I bet that guy is laughing his ass off.

Yeah - my parents failed to teach me manners - a lonely tear rolls down my unshaven cheek now...
Would you like to teach me some manners please ?

the vest is kool,i like the tarten but no offence,i have to point out that from a Scotsman's point of view that it is the Royal Stuart tarten you have used..Scottish,not british which can be insulting to certain Scotsman to called be British..other than that i like the old skool look and the bands represented
\m/

Thanks mate \m/
As for the Royal Stuart tarten - no offence was meant to anyone - as a matter of fact a friend of mine on FB asked me to add a small patch of the Welsh dragon to keep things even :)

5
Morbid_Welshman's picture

Nice to see a Welsh Dragon ;) I shall be doing this for my son/daughter, if I ever have one :)

Axehead's picture

you could do the same for Scotland with a Red Rampant lion patch.. i am actually a Stuart and not offended,i really like the tarten idea but i know some hard core Jacobites would hate being called british..lol oh yea, dont forget the Irish..haha
im also old skool with metalhead sons, doing a battle jacket for one of them now \m/

nice bands, but way too orderly. Maybe try getting some patches of different shapes or swapping out a few circular patches for the square ones on the back!

2
NIGHTRIDER's picture

The idea was to form a front made of as many circular patches as possible - same with the repeating bands on them - sadly I got to depend on what I can purchase on e-bay and a couple of other sites - and the selection is far from satisfactory. Thanks for your advice - but we like it as it is. :)
