I was more thinking about don't tell them that its more usually more expensive everywhere else. Like buying shirt imports in the 90's for over 100AU because they simply didn't exist here, and bands that don't even tour here so all we can do is buy US/EU stuff for waaaayy more than the poor yanks.
Although I much prefer paying for an Aussie licensed ones, the shirt quality is 100 times better. #trump_china :-)
Most large touring bands have a sell-back or returns deal with the merch printers. If a shirt doesnt sell out for a specific date/tour the merch company with provide them via retail distribution. If you cannot make the tour and its a big one.. chances are if you email the merch company after a major tour you can pick up an official for cheap as :-)
Let me clear a few things up.
$100 for the zip up hoodie that has reign in blood on the back(check my profile I have one)
$40-$45 for a shirt isn’t bad in my opinion ( bands make most of their $$$ from tour merch(I know slayer has enough money)but it IS their last tour and I’m not about to complain)
Another thing is they had a great amount in stock and I can’t tell you how many shows I’ve been where this shirt is sold out or that one is only available in small and xxx-l sizes

$40 is kinda ridiculous but I'm still gonna buy. Wtf is being sold for $100???
meaningless
if a simple Hoodie cost 75-80$ ...maybe 100 is a zipper...hahhaha..no idea...
meaningless
the prices are....nothing to say...seriously...

Bottom line is they have a great selection and EVERYTHING IS A TOUR SHIRT not like other tours where only 1 or 2 designs have the tour brand

Were there any posters for sale?

The cost of the shirts prob paid for all that fuel they used for the pyro/fire.

Uurgh! Their disgusting prices always disgraced me. Wtf. Looks like the supporting acts are play call and response.
