Machine Head is one the best live acts i have ever seen,
the 1995 gig with Meshuggah and Mary Beats Jane
is on my top ten list of best gigs ever!
The first time i saw them was 1994 supporting Slayer.

It's nice to know that someone else here really adores Machine Head. Can't wait to see them live in Athens this summer along with Ozzy & Friends, Paradise Lost and Unisonic.

nice collection!! :D i saw them first time on the Tour with Meshugga and Mary beats Jane!! Was working there for stage/light.
Ill never forget as i tried to make a trade with Peter Dolving :P
His shirt (Zombie needs brain with the Mary beats Jane-Album design) for my S.T. Hoddie ..haha

Nice collection . I have the "Jesus Wept" backpatch framed on the wall. I only really liked they're first 2 albums to be perfectly honest. Both of those really had a street / hardcore vibe to them. I think they lost steam when they booted Logan Mader. Don't get me wrong Phil D is a great musician and Vio lence was phenomenal, but it's just never been the same.

They have certainly lost their thrashy sound a long time ago, and they released a couple of week albums
(but not bad) but at the latest 4 albums they have really found a unique thrash/groove metal sound.
