Dubbed the 'Intercity Express,' Maiden's first leg of the No Prayer on the Road tour saw them play a swag of shows across the UK at smaller clubs and venues they hadn't played since the early 80's. Would have been insane to see!

This cost 10 pounds back in 1990, and I never wore it. With today's prices, all I can say is thank fuck I'm not starting out collecting now!

It's all relative. . .Back in the mid-80s, $12 was an insane amount for a t-shirt at a show. . .you could get them for $5.98 at the record shop. Buying 2 shirts at one show for $24 dropped jaws all around.
Still, $1500 for a Maiden shirt is just silly, unless it's something a LOT scarcer than Hawaii 85! Joe is a great guy - I've been to a couple of shows with him, including the first Orion festival - we were in the Snake Pit together
