Xysma - Fata Morgana - 7" Lilac Marble Vinyl EP (Seraphic Decay Records, 1990)
Xysma is a fascinating band from Finland, they have shifted through multiple music genres and in my opinion they were great in each genre they "tried". Great musicians with excellent sense for melody, but obviously quite restless :D
This little EP is from their early heavy period, a rather unique take on death metal which is rounded off by a very melancholic closer, hinting at the bands future development. Highly recommended!
These 7"s have been released in multiple vinyl and sleeve colors, I wish I had more versions in the collection, but they have been pretty hard to get for a while now.
