I recently traded in my metallica 2004 t shirt for his body count t shirt i knew there were holes but i thought this could have happened because he went too hard on a concert or smt but it turns out it was a dry rotted t shirt with out any info on it having dry rot or anything else and now theres refusal for a change of the t shirt or return of my original t shirt please be careful incase you receive something to check it earlier as possible for dry rot because i didn't even knew and this happened i don't even want anything else i just want a dam body count t shirt 😔

It's not really new tbh he doesn't really sell newer stuff the t shirt is around 7-8 maybe 9 years old so i wouldn't say that's new but it's kinda weird that it almost has disengaged after one cold wash i honestly really wish i could have known much earlier and now theres refusal of trade in or return since sales are final but there was never a mention anywhere of an item not being able to be refunded if a thing like this happened over all I'm really fucking sad about it since body count has been a band i have liked for a long time and for me to finally own a thing from them was a dream come true sadly this dream was really short lived

I would consider that time period fairly new in terms of collectors tees. For any old shirt then sure its new

I mean yeah i guess if you look it from more of a collectors side of things ye that's new but i got it for everyday wear not to keep it as a item in my collection

Also on the topic of dry rot even though it's much rare to happen in newer t shirts because the dye is better today dry rot still happens to t shirts i owned a iron maiden the trooper t shirt i sold back in January/February of last year for cheap that was easily able to rip maybe it was because i didn't wash it for a long time since I got it from the original owner or maybe the environment where i was storing them was to humid either way nothing of this happened in this case i store them perfectly machine or hand wash my merch and this has never happened on anything other of my merch in the environment of my apartment idk if it was to much pressure due to me putting like 2-3 hoodies and 1 or 2 t shirts or what not it's the fact that one wear and it's gone
