This is probably a long shot but before I buy a regular jacket/vest I figured I'd see if anyone knows of any nice quality denim jackets/vests in a feminine cut.

Sellpy has many second hand items [brand new oftentimes..] for really cheap [3.50 euro +] and with pretty fast shipping. They have plenty of womens denim and biker jackets that you can cut the sleeves off of. Hope this helps!
Since I see your in the United States. Depending on what style of vest you want. Denim has the most feminine cuts from what I see. Every so often you can get lucky with biker brands like Harley, and a few others (ill look on my BF's) for leather, & pleather or stronger materials. Theres site's deticated to metal vests, like this one, hard n heavy, my metal shop and renegade classic (cannot confirm quality). Renegade classic has a few in stock rn that are biker strong with low cut, cropped and tie able sides.
Although I found mine at a thrift store. The user above also gave solid advice.
