Yeah, they weren't another Vio-Lence or Forbidden -- but they certainly did a lot of footwork toward growing heavy metal's commercial profile in the mid '90s
The official Thin Lizzy site http://www...nlizzy.org sends you to http://www...chead.com/ for authentic, licensed merch, if that's your thing. Great band for sure, you'd think with Henry Rollins' adoring mentions of the band and the covers by Mordred, Metallica, Vader, Sodom, etc that they'd be more of a metal staple :\
@Turbognar that's actually not a bar of soap, it's an 8 Track Cartridge. They were a relatively short-lived but prominent consumer audio format, a magnetic tape media wound in a continuous spool that allowed for non-stop play. The audio content was divided into 4 "programs" which could be selected via a button on the playback deck - they were notable as an early "in car" medium, and they complemented the Quadraphonic phenomenon of the '70s, remaining collectible curios to audiophiles today. And yes, I understand that you poke fun : D
I was wearing this one when I was in Seattle at a waterfront wine shop. A rather clean-cut gentleman working there said "Aha! I've seen them live....many years ago."
Hey hallow!
I hope you read this.
Do you seal this patches?
Because I'm interested in the Venom patch.
What is the text that is standing on it?
I hope we can make contact.
Thanks, Joachim
I was lucky enough to see them in 81 and 82. Snaz (for me) is right up there with the greatest live albums ever. I still have my vinyl version as well. I've managed to get most of the releases on cd.
I have a Nazareth patch (bootleg) on my Kutte.
I don't want to chime in and turn this into a massive religious debate, but I don't see how praying is any more of a waste of time than meditating, playing computer games, or posting comments on a website. As long as people want to do something (and it doesn't harm others), I say let them do it.

Looks legit, also one of the best shirts ever!

I'm not sure why the band/family does not release a ton of official merch. Seems there is enough of a desire for their stuff.

I ordered in Hungary.

It's not the best graphics, I agree. However, I never thought I'd run across a Thin Lizzy shirt, no less a "Black Rose" t-shirt.

Nice. I just posted my Motorhead collection as well.

Along with Razamanaz, these are my favorite Naz albums. Still need to find a good copy of Razamanaz on vinyl.

5 for the band, 3 for the shirt - thus a 4 flame vote.

I did not know Justice was released on vinyl. Have it on cd - classic. Obviously everything else is great as well.
