First two that come to my mind are Atheist and Entombed! So fine cover arts, but no patches :( Also, like ConsideredDead11 said, most European death metal acts, but I'd add the less-known of the Tampa/Florida bands like Nocturnus. And Pestilence could have done one for Spheres, such a killer album!
Im thinking about booting a few patches up of bands that I wished released patches back in the day. One that instantly comes to mind is Toxik - World Circus. I don’t want to over complicate the art on the patch and I refuse to do what the Greek guys are doing by just doing a really bad scan job of the entire cover – most of them look horrible. The best patches are so simple in art. I was fooling around last night and came up with this:
This art is only the first draft – still needs lots of refining and artwork tweaking to make it perfect. I’m thinking about removing the background all together and just leave the clown politician.
Would any of you be interested? I wont be making these to make much profit - all want to do is cover the production costs etc and I wont have these made up for some time yet. Just thought id get your thoughts before I put my money were my mouth is.
One of the patches i would wanted was English Dogs - Forward Into Battle, but that's been officially done this year for their new tour, finally!!!!!! after years of waiting.
it would be more easy to do one patch from Think This. i have an idea; just a square patch black background with one of the TV appeard on the album cover with "Think This" inside of the TV. and the green logo on bottom. if not just put the clown and the toxik logo. whatever u do i want one! :D
