Pretty nice shirt. Looked way more beige than yellow on the homepage. Witching hour productions left a sour taste in my mouth. first i hear nothing from them in about a month, then after some emails I finally got my stuff, after two fucking months of waiting...
All well that ends well I guess. But I would've preffered the parchment hue the homepage displayed. I'll never buy from them again, that's one thing that's for sure at least.
Haha, really like your review of WH prod. We made the same experience with him - stuff took over 2 months (we ordered for ~ 300€) and when it arrived the vinyls looked used, some vinyls and CDs were missing and he never replied to us regarding the missing stuff. We'll never purchase anything from him again (and thus I really detest Batushka as he's a member). Saw the shirt live last weekend and the color was really... well, not my taste. Nevertheless full flames for your honesty ;)
What I found most annoying about this whole ordeal was his nonchalance. He just didn't seem to care at all about his customers. Even when pressed he seemed more like "yeah whatever, I'll send it I guess, some day" than anything. Like he couldn't even be arsed to post a package he's been payed to do in advanced without being forced to do so.
I hope he focuses more on the music and less on the management in the future. He clearly sucks on the later.
Yes, same here. His attitude really sucks and I still don't get it how he runs this label since years and one never heard something bad about this label. The only thing I get to hear every two weeks is his 25% sale on everything. How is a label supposed to work when a) you don't care about your customers and b) you always sell stuff for way less then other labels? Whatever... luckily there's enough good music and many other labels around to choose from.
Yeah, I've never heard anything about this guy ever before. But the page looked professional enough so I had no second thoughts about ordering. But being treated like some sort or nuisance rather than a paying customer changed that impression rather quickly. I'm just happy I got my stuff in the end all things considered.
Got your point and absolutely agree. Well, I'm still missing 3LPs and a CD, haha. But he sent 1 LP that noone wanted -.- really, you can't treat your customers this way. But I'm glad that it actually worked out for you at least ;)
Ordered my Batushka Vinyl straight from Witching Hour. The price was unbeatable and it took like 3 weeks. So I really can't say something bad about Witching Hour. The abum itself is amazingly good...but this shirt looks like shit ;-)
Some friends of mine received their Batushka stuff after few days and some others were waiting months. Seems like he doesn't have a system of how to logically pack the packages and send them out. I wouldn't complain about the waiting if he treated his customers with respect and gave updates on his own.

Well I guess some people just get lucky. ^^
Yeah, I know. The shirt looked way better on the page. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
