Yeah, i totally agree with you....if they cut all that crap from the dj,'s & the 2 guys that bash the oil cans & stuck to writting more cohesive material they would be better than they are now, and specially more respected by Metal fans than they are nowadays, but it's their choice anyway, so who cares...lol

I already have one vest almost done, but i already have great ideas for a second one...i would like to do a blue one know, since ai already have a black one, it all depends on finding a cheap denim jacket, because at the moment i need to save money for concert tickets and so on....

Sorry, but i don't sell any of my stuff, it means a lot for me, try on ebay, it might have the pestilence patch, sometimes this kind of rare patches appears there.

Yes, it is The Victims of Deception patch by Heathen, my camera sometimes blurs a litle the photos...

I wouldn't call myself a Slipknot fan either, mainly for the resons i mentioned above in my first post, but i like some of their songs from the Slipknot and Yowa albums....after that, all they've done is pretty much rubish, as far as i'm concerned...
I also remenber seeing them on terrorizer talking about their musical tastes, and i was surprised to see,Death Metal, Thrash and Grindcore bands among them, wich separates them from the rest of the nu metal trash that was happening the time, that certanly didn't like those types of more extreme Metal.
To me these days they're a band that gets most of kids that listen to them, into heavier & better bands afterwards, when they start to discover that all they think they know about Metal is just the tip of the iceberg really.

You are also right regarding Machine Head as a "Metal target band", but in my opinion it's rob flynn's fault for that, since he seems more happy these days in appearing besides the new metal bands such Trivium, than the guys from Vio-lence for example....but almost any band that is in Roadrunner has to be somewhat comercial, or else gets the boot, and MH is no exception...and they already got the boot after the supercharger album was released.
I still like MH a lot, but to me Vio-lence is way better...too bad they made bad decisions regarding the change of the Manager they had, because i believe eventualy they would get signed to a bigger label that the one they were.
Eternal Nightmare & Opressing the Masses are way better than anything MH has released so far, at least in my book...good call by rob flynn on asking phil demmel to join MH though, best guitar player MH has ever had, they were both great when they palyed together in the Vio-lence days....definitely a good team!

Thanks man, yes it does, i wish they also made the other cover of The Will to Kill album as a patch, because i like that cover as well too, and would have done a great patch as well.

I got my Heathen patch from ebay, it was a while ago, so i don't remember the exact name of the seller, but if i find the invoice of that the seller has sent me at the time, i'll post here all the information i get, i know that when i bought the Heathen patch, i also bought a few more like the Razor one for example and others as well.

I wish i was rich...loooool, all the stuff i've collected is from 20 years of collecting stuff,and not spending money in useless things like smoking for example, that's why i've got a fair amount of stuff, plus i had a Metal store in my hometown for 4 years, so that helped as well along the way.

Sorry bur i don't sell any of my stuff, it's sacred for me :)

Yes, i have been thinking about doing a second vest for some time now, and i already have some cool ideas about it, my only doubt is regarding the backpatch i'm going to use in the vest, if i'm going to use one form the one's i've got, or i'll try to find another one that i really want, but lately due to lack of time, i still haven't started to look for the denim jacket...
My idea is to make my second vest a lot more diverse regarding the type of patches i'm going to put on the vest, my first vest was more dedicated to thrash, because it is what i love best, but in my second one, i want to include everithing i like from Hard Rock to Black Metal.

Meanwhile i store my patches in the ofice folder, because it is a great way in my opinion to keep them organised & safe from begining to deteriorate themselves as time goes by, and i have quite a few of them that were bought 15 to 20 years ago.

I have 29 patches in my current vest, in the office folder i've got 116 patches, so it would give to fill 3 more vests by my opinion, meanwhile, i've got some more new patches, i'll have to take pictures of them, and upload them when i've got the chance.

I think my oldest patch is the green Metallica logo, i have bought that in 91 i believe, so that's a 19 year old patch right there, and there are more as old as that one.

Hi there Dave, actualy a have a few more new patches that i got a while ago, but i still need to get pictures of them in order to upload them here, the rest of the folder is filled with photos and articles from magazines that i used to use on my A4 notebooks during my highschool years...there are photos from Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Sepultura, White Zombie etc....
