But jokes aside, this was prime Cradle of Filth merchandising before it went completely bonkers with the colours & designs from that point on. While it can be argued that the band had planned such an aesthetic move to reflect their career trajectory, in my opinion the monochromatic vampire aesthetic of their 'Principle of Evil Made Flesh' era was something groundbreaking & memorable - this backpatch bears testimony to that.
