Absu Kris Verwimp - The Seventh Serpent & Odoric: The Wall of Doom

The Seventh Serpent, a collection of the first decade of works by this famed Belgian artist was released in limited numbers all the way back in early 2005 so my chances of finding a copy of this amazing book compiling the best works of his from 1994 through 2004 were extremely slim. However, I decided to contact Kris Verwimp on Facebook anyway and ask him if there were any copies available for purchase at all. He told me there were a few copies that had been sitting around for years that he didn't want to sell because of creased corners but we immediately agreed to make a business transaction which was very fair and worked out perfectly. He also threw in a copy of the first installment (I believe) of his cult comic Odoric which was a fun read. Made me feel like a teenager, haha. Anyone who's a fan of Absu like me will immediately recognize the hero of the story Odoric as the character on the cover of the aforementioned band's classic album The Sun of Tiphareth. I love this kind of art. Art that looks to Satanism, Paganism, Occultism, Classical and Romantic art, Fantasy and the ancient world for inspiration. Goes hand in hand with my tastes.
