It's the inverted "Algiz" rune. Its had its different meanings over time, and across different lands. I don't really know much about that one. It would be interesting to look up how it came to be so widely used as a peace sign, while not knowing its origin. But anyway, yes, HORDE is awesome!

That's nuts. And I thought the US was bad about their judgementalness & moral views (especially here in the bible belt). I know we have freedom of speech and all but the way that people think and outwardly judge is pretty bad. But sure, to NOT be harshly judged (in an actual court) for expression is probably something we take for granted here.

Some countries have very strict laws against bible bashing. Remember when nergal was being sued for tearing bibles at shows in poland (his birth country!)! He won the court case, the idiot politician who filed the charges was ordered to publicly apologize, and as punishment pay $1000 (or whatever currency) to an animal shelter! So after the ordeal, nergal got sued again, by the same guy for the same thing. Also i hope he recovers well from treatment. We were supposed to see BEHEMOTH and WATAIN but when he became ill, they cancelled the tour and the new tour skipped our city.

I have the original (fuck me jesus) shirt. I used to wear it quite a bit. Nothing new. You'd think there would be like a huge reation, but its not much different than any other shirt i wear. i read somebody got arrested i think in australia once for wearing it. I think the back sort of confuses people a bit, but in an insulting way.

I would like to know the kind of reaction the wearer gets when wearing this shirt out in public. I know what kind of looks I get wearing a goat head or a pentagram on my back, but I've always been curious about this design.

Bust out HORDE christian black metal "invert the inverted cross!" The biblical devil is pretty lame. But they wrote him to be a lame character. You wouldnt want the devil to be cool and protaganist if youre christian. Fyi the peace sign is just an inverted norse-pagan symbol. I think it was a symbol for war, but im not an ancient viking so i cant say for sure.

Thanks for the pointer then.. I wont expect to much then when i get a chance to watch 'em. I agree with the humor on house that was just great :) what i liked about devils is that I hada feeling that i was watching a tribute to natural born killers. it was pretty wel done :) I noticed the texas chainsaw massacre pin as wel.. what do you recon ? 1974 or 2003 ?

I have to disagree and say that I didn't like Devil's Rejects better. House of a 1000 Corpses had that great, twisted sense of humor that Devil's Rejects just simply lacked. (House - it's a favorite movie of mine) Devil's - Twas too serious! And you might not want to watch Rob's remakes if you like your horror classics. lol You might get pissed. They're decent movies for what they are, I suppose. But they don't call them classics for nothing!

wow a house of thousand corpses pin! how cool is that \m/ I liked the film but was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a zombie flick. (big fan of captain spaulding) Do you like blood? Violence? Freaks of nature ? then come on down to captain spaulding's hall of murderers and madman. The devils rejects was better in my opinion. Haven't seen any of rob's remakes of horror classics. I did enjoy the the haunted world of el super beasto for it's adolescent crudeness. ow look at me and babbeling again.

Well, it's not an original tour shirt, the print on the back of mine says it was made in 2006, just with the old tourdates on the back. If someone wearing this shirt tried to tell me that he was at one of these shows, I'd have a laugh on them (if it's obvious that they weren't there). I would have bought one without the tourdates, but as this was the only great Sodom shirt I could get, I just bought it. To me, the backprint does'nt really matter too much as there's mostly a battle jacket over it :D
