I love Stryper and to all you haters out there - eat a dick! I dont give a fuck what peoples religious, political or racial motives are - if the metal is GOOD - ill dig it and Stryper blow away a lot of the shit that came out of LA during the 80s within the same scene. I have a a tonne of Stryper albums at home (including the coloured wax pictured here) as well as other rare Stryper records. So fuck hailing Satan or God or Allah or Buddha or any of that shit .... I HAIL \m/ METAL \m/

I'd go for painting it on too but really not too much logo's, maybe one or two big ones on the back and 2 small ones on the sleeves, not more, that really kills it, in my opinion the front looks best just as it is, with nothing painted on it

Seriously, to hate something just because of Christian lyrics is ridiculous. It's the music that matters anyways. If you reject all Christian metal, you're missing out on a lot of decent thrash bands such as Believer, Sacrament, Tourniquet, Ultimatum, etc... And how about early Mortification? Scrolls of the Megilloth is one brutal death metal album.

in my opinion, sewing on patches to a leather ruins it. I'd say paint it on but make sure you make the right placement and dont overcrown your jacket with band names painted on... i did it to mine and it looked absolutly horrible.

Stryper it's a cool band, just try to enjoy the music and forget the lyrics, I don't like religion too, but I like metal. Just take this as an advice given by someone who used to listen to heavy metal long before you were born, you could miss very good bands, not just Petra or Joshua... which you may consider so light if you are in to thrash, but acts such as Tourniquet, Logos...

In my opinion you should not sew anything on your leather, if you want to add something and you're good at drawing maybe you could try wit some special paints, I know a guy with an awesome King Kobra design on the back of it's jacket
