I put patches over my pockets (the upper ones as well as the lower ones and the inside pockets) but didn't lose an inch of them, still totally useful! I uploaded my kutte, btw. But especialli for the upper pockets it's quite hard work. I have to say that I made every stich on my vest with my fingers, no machine involved. You just have to go inside the pockets with the fingers of one hand and then sew stich for stich... Or you just take iron-on patches and iron them over the pockets, probably the easier way.

no i havnt seen a 'mint' shirt from the 80s since the 80s. every 80s shirt i see nowadays is faded or cracked or has holes or stretched etc. not saying it cant happen. as i look again i can see some fading around the I R and N is there any print on the back?
