Well, it's not an original tour shirt, the print on the back of mine says it was made in 2006, just with the old tourdates on the back. If someone wearing this shirt tried to tell me that he was at one of these shows, I'd have a laugh on them (if it's obvious that they weren't there). I would have bought one without the tourdates, but as this was the only great Sodom shirt I could get, I just bought it. To me, the backprint does'nt really matter too much as there's mostly a battle jacket over it :D

Oh, it's a custom printed one by the Mad Patcher. I've had the patches for a while but haven't worn them out much, so I'll drop a line in half a year as to whether the patches have faded or not. I sprayed them with a good deal of some protective coating a few times, so they should last a bit I hope.

I can't remember, but it's an official one and rather easy to come by. You'll find plenty of places that'll sell it from a simple google search, but of course the trick is to find it on a site with lots of other patches you want- though postage for patches is relatively cheap anyhow.

Hahah I gave up on the questions a while ago :P I think I have it worked out. "Mafia is for opera"--> Opera is a subgenre of art music or "classical music," Fleshgod Apocalypse compose and then mix or 'splice' classical music excerpts into their pieces, and these pieces are brutal tech-death- and of course, we all know that an octopus' favourite genre is brutal tech-death. Jeff Goldblum could've done it so much more effectively though.

yep...this was the press that sold for around $800+ on eBay...that yellow goat is madness : ) is the camouflage label on the vinyl black & white w/ red Combat logo? just curious....I never owned this one on vinyl, just on cassette (back in the mid '80s)....genuine classic

That's like me and when I have a kid! I can understand you don't want him getting into the other stuff yet. If you aren't in your teen years it may be a little soon. I mean, you can't jump to cannibal corpse and venom at once. You have to start off with Judas Priest, Maiden and Sabbath. Get your ears adjusted. Then move on to like Metallica, Megadeth and Motorhead. Then Carnivore, Kreator, Nuclear Assault .ect Yeah, get that boy some white hightops man! And a bigger vest to transfer patches to when he gets bigger!

Im sure he'll discover it in due time but just now i think hes a little too young for it. Hes seen all my Slayer, Venom etc etc etc LPs and he knows he cant listen to them and he knows about my death and black metal records also and he knows they are off limits. But he does have is own little collection happening. Hes got his own Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath etc LPs and hes happy listening to them.

i come from a muslim family, and i found metal a very young age. And i mean my dad fuckin hates the music i listne to, my mom loves some of it (priest, metallica, maiden, ext). Im glad my mom and grandma are on my side ( my grandma is so fuckin cool btw she went to motorhead with me). And im teaching my little 2 year old sister the roots. She loves it when im blastin venom or like sepultura in the car. Its not brainwashing per-say, and nor do i think any of the music is scary, but i can see where you come from by not letting your kis listne to the heavier stuff just yet.

I hear ya man ... my dad also didn't and doesn't get it. But then again, my dad has no interest in music whats so ever. I know hes still young and i do send him to a private/catholic school. Ok, i dont believe with a lot of what the religion is about but the morals is whats important to me. I think letting him listen to music like Slayer or Possessed isnt good for a mind thats still so young. I know that he doesnt understand 99% of what they are singing about but if its blatantly about satan or killing people etc - its not good for a child. Im just glad he had fun.

I think this is a great pic! And it's cool that you an your son share that in common. My dad is ignorant and has no respect for metal nor me liking it. He just dosent get it. You seem to get it, and props for not letting your kid get too into the "heavy" subject matter too early. Honestly I think bands like Metallica can be "family friendly" I mean they arent gonna say anything you wouldent hear in a pg-13 or even pg movie. And good idea watching out for the hearing. Your a good dad!
