I've slowly gotten her into some hair metal stuff, but she is not a fan of the heavier stuff. She has turned into a huge Bon Jovi fan. Currently I don't have enough $ to frame all of the Bon Jovi stuff she has collected over the years. She has seen them 9 times this year alone.

I forgot to mention that the show was on my anniversary and my wife fully understood that I needed to go to the concert instead of spending it with her. Granted it cost my dearly in the "You Owe Me Big" log. But what the hell it was worth it.

Didn't get notified about any of these comments. :/ Cheers all for the great comments! Shame this jacket is far too small for me now. :( Anyways... The badges. Most of them were bought from ebay and its just a case of trial and error... search for metal pin badges, enamel badges, pewter badges etc. Also got a fair few from gigs and fests. The Can I Play With Madness thing is one of the badges, not a patch. :) Its above the Metallica snake, front-centre of the jacket.

Heh. Lots of comments "all of a sudden". I am very aware it's not a very heavy metal jacket and very commercial and that a lot of heavy metal enthusiasts may have a problem with that. That aside, been adding some Slayer and Megadeth patches to the back, which is now a bit denser as well with new patches. Don't have any pictures of it now, tho. Would like to start anew on another jacket, but I really have to come across something that I am going to enjoy for years to come. This current one can be considered an early prototype, that's why I won't remove anything as it is :P

I wouldn't say he has weird taste in music- it's not like Metallica, Sabbath and Maiden are ultra-underground bands or anything. Avenged Sevenfold are probably my most hated band in the world, but you wear the patches that represent you and I respect you for it. Don't take any of the shit to heart- but then again I'm sure you'll probably look back on Avenged Sevenfold and wonder what you were thinking.
