yeh dude it a crust punk thing u have it attached to jeans. It originated (from what i understand) from squater punks who use to use truck mudflaps tied to there jeans, that they had customised with band logos, so when they sat on cold concrete they didnt get piles.

Dude, great to see an army jacket on here, i used to go to gigs back in the Eighties and everyone had them (most with sleeves cut off though). I had a Venom back patch on mine. I think it was a very Australian battle jacket even more so than Denim vests until the late eighties.
