I don't think that it is ironic. I know that Tom was raised as a Catholic but he is the frontman of Slayer for 30 years now and he is very comfortable with what he's singing.

Definitely, although i know for sure that Kerry King is more into the "good vs evil" stuff. Tom likes to write more about serial killers and "deranged behaviors" subjects!!!
