Had the similar idea a while ago also, but i was thinking square patches around a round backpatch , but you have definitely nailed it with the coffin patches. The jacket in full looks totally amazing, but the back is the best layout I personally have ever seen.
Full credit to you sir for a totally unique vest.

The circle of coffin patches is a really inspired idea! The front is a little too cluttered for me, but it's clear you layered them without covering over band logos or text, and you put thought into how they fit (like the Dark Angel and Death patches at the bottom, that's tight). Great job!
