Making a Battle Jacket

Ok guys I have a hell of a project and my work is cut out for me. I am making a battle jacket in an extreme and almost satire way. The main rule that started this concept: If you saw the band live in any capacity, put the patch on wether you like them or not. This will be chaotic asf. I need help with how to manage this absolute beast of a project. Below are criteria I need help with managing. I attached a linkto show what I plan on starting with.

1. It has to be able to survive the pit. I'm young asf so I have all that energy available
2. Ineed it to last till death (I'm 17, that's a lot of years)
3. I need to somehow fit all these patches (how the hell do I do this without hiding patches from the layers?
4. I will likely have to add extensions, how do you do this and what are the best extensions?
5. I plan on getting the jacket signed on the inside side panels.
The inside black panel will have a list and tally marks to bands and festivals seen. How do I do that in the most efficient way?
