Iron Maiden thingy

So I am at this friends house and he told me he got some old maiden merch he wanted to give me. A shirt and this thing I don't know how it's called. Both I find very strange and never seen before... Guess bootlegs. BOucht in the mid 90's by him. Might know more?? Emedietly uploaded it cuz i'm curious :P

early 90s mid 90s u got a lot of stuff like this, not only from Maiden, also Metallica, Pantera, AC/DC etc. 99% thats all bootlegs. and when i look at the back of this 'jacket' (sorry dont know the correct word in english for it) - its a bootleg :) We all know how the original artwork look like :) But funny and strange (at the same time) stuff :P

in german language we call it 'Gilet'..its a french word for 'Vest/Jacket' ..but sleeveless.
At least..thats what Wikipedia says :P

The English word is vest. Anything you wear on your upper body that has no sleeves is a vest.

That's not necessarily true - you wouldn't call a sleeveless shirt a vest - It would be any "Outerwear" without sleeves is generally referred to as a vest
