Bought it last year in a shop in Amsterdam : it had been hanging there for 20+ years !!! It's so much cooler to find stuff that way then pay a lot of €€€ on ebay...
true true..but its hard to find. Every one have a internet-connection on his/her damn mobilphone. Every1 is checking prices..and -> *whoops* it stays on ebay..lol
..i have to admit: now...2012...im prefering bootlegs of a NICE and GOOD quality...serious..
I dont see the point to pay 90 EURO(!!!!!) or more for a 'original' shirt, just to have '(c)blue grape 1991' below my print.
Always nice to have an original one, but for a NORMAL price :)
the problem that I have with bootleggers: why not come up with a new design ??? That way You add something extra, all the collectors/ completists want it and it's more a tribute to the band then cashing in on them !!!! have to admit I have a couple of bootlegs too, but they are easy to seperate from the real deal: that's another problem, bootlegs are getting so good, you can't tell the difference with the original. Now the bootlegs even get sold for a lot of €€€€ and collector get ripped and that's really bad...
oh yeah..many true stuff u said, dude.
the last words - there comes an Exhorder LS in my mind.
its a bootleg for sure, it looks great..and its expensive as fuck! lol
Good point @make different designs! (like my Dismember shirt Skin her Alive) but sometimes..its also cool to get an old design 'again'.
IMO - why dont the bands directly re-release their own old designs 'again'.
Like Sacred Reich have done with the 'new' Violent Solutions-tour shirts.
Every1 want it, and who get the money? The band itself - who deserves it! ..and not bootleger.
No idea...why they dont come up with their own 'old' designs again..., would be the best solution, imo.
Oh yeah! I keep an eye out for one popping up on the bay. I had this in the early 90s, but inthink I traded it with a guy from America from a band called PazuZu?
thanx man; yeah, this was really an amazing find... the shop i bought it in, is like a time-capsule... i used to buy there alot of stuff in the early 90's.. then for some 10/15 years i haven't been there 'tll for 1 year ago: it was still there, same owners ( who reckognized me!) and alot of stuff which had been hanging there around for some 20 years...they have hundreds and hundreds of shirts; most not really interesting, but if you take some time and dig through all the piles you still can find some gems !!!
