Re-release of Ulver's demo. I thought it looked kind of cool, but I was somewhat disappointed by the texture of the cover. It said "Leather book", but it felt more like pressed cardboard with a fibery texture. I was expecting something more in the line of faux leather. I still think it's rather eye catching.

I don't know if every copy of this was supposed to come with a poster. But it was missing from mine.

I've been keeping an eye at these releases for a while. I really like the overall idea, I just think it's lacking in some parts. It mostly amounts to details and nitpicks such as there being no labeling on the spine and the above mentioned texture, so no big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Ah fair enough, I had a look on Discogs and couple listings mentioned missing poster also. Damn that's a shame might pick up different pressing myself.

The walls are full. Apart from music I am also an avid fan of video games and comic books(no superhero BS!), and strange stuff in general. So you run out of space pretty fast. ^^

The latest addition is the cranium and some assorted tusks and vertebrae from a wild boar. I found them yesterday in the forests around my mothers house.

I've got the same one, only in brown instead, and that's the "leather" edition.
I have a small collection of these editions from Kyrck Production, and I've also got some of those editions that your Ulver is.
Apparently you have to be careful what colour you're buying, but I think that they are cool anyway :)

That would explain it. I guess Discogs isn't up to date with the info on these ones.
Indeed, I love the design behind these, but as you say I'll have to do my homework a bit more thoroughly before purchasing the next one. ^^

I was fooled, myself, when purchasing other colours, so I totally understand your dissapointment, and I still do not know which one is the "real" leather editions when purchasing. But yeah, they are quite some great collectors items, I'm glad that I bought my editions :)

Yeah, I can't wait to get some more myself. They have some ones with Ved Buens Ende, Manes and Thorns that I'm pretty psyched about.

Abosolutely! I've got the Ved Buens Ende, got it Signed by the band, and that white version is the same edition as your Ulver, so don't buy that one if you're looking for the leather-edition :)

It's not a deal breaker if it is the same material as this one. I was just a bit caught off guard rather than disappointing by it.
Cool that you have it signed. I wasn't even aware they were still active.
