Magic Circle - S/T LP

I discovered this band literally like two and a half weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised, even though the vocals took some getting used to (clean male vocals usually do for me), they grew on me quickly. I was on a journey to widen my doom metal horizons and knowledge of listenable bands. I have found quite a few so far, and this was one of them.

I think this is self-released by the band, and limited to 1,000 copies.

To the best of my doom metal conceptual understanding abilities, these guys got the sound waaay right.

Good job Magic Circle, you’ve got yourselves a new fan! While I’m not quite sure what to make of the cover art (it‘s not ugly, but it‘s a little strange and blurry), the music is the main attraction here.

It also came with a free download card!

Band is fucking awesome. Scream Evil and Winter Light are my fav tracks, I have this on cd got it from Armageddon Shop.

My favorite track is possibly Conquering Nocturnity, then all the other ones. All of them are top-notch, so you can't really go wrong.

I found out about them because they play a lot with Pilgrim, another doom band I dig.
