A huge influence on what was to be heavy metal. It's hard to believe this was released nearly 50 years ago. Today it reads like a greatest hits compilation. To give you an idea of how ahead of his time he was, check out some of Hendrix's label mates. Tiny Tim and Nancy Sinatra? What a joke!
