Comus - First Utterance
Vinyl reissue od Comus' debut album. One of the best albums I know in the sense that it perfectly displays how experimental flare doesn't have to compromise how listenable an album is. Many times I get the impression that experimental bands simple settles for being weird and artsy for the sake of it, completely disregarding the fact that without some sense of flow an album becomes pretty tiring to listen through.
Also, the cover art is rather eye catching. I can't decide if I think it looks horrible or if I love it. But either way it's an extremely hitting depiction of a man(Or woman for all I know, it kind of looks a bit like Tina Turner) in total agony.
