....I love seeing these old reviews! It just takes me back to when I was a teenager, bouncing around town with a Walkman and a Possessed and Megadeth demo to blare! (1984) Great post! "Cheers, eh!?"

....indeed but "time marches on!" The demos I referred to were tapes that my friends and I were passing back and forth. Some years ago, I managed to acquire a duplicate Metal Mania issue, from an old friend of mine. What struck me the most, alongside the Xerox copy, (Ha! Ha!) were how brutal the reviews were if your band ended up in the dislike column! Of course, this was all underground press so you can pull out all the stops. (I'm referring to an absolutely scathing review of Accept/ Balls to the Wall/ lp) Simpler times and less genres! "Cheers!"
