Really nice Ibanez man. Never played this model but I really like the superstrats from Ibanez. I think they are called JEM or something.... And the other model is nice too... Can't remember that one either... Iceman or something. Alot of switches and stuff again. Your guitars seem to have that. Having alot of different sounds is nice.
yep, this one is more suitable for some 70's hardrock or bluesrock; not the really heavy stuff. Would love to have an old Iceman; not one of those re-issues but a late 70's/ early 80's one. That old Matsumoku stuff is awesome; really good quality !!!
Matsumoku... Never heard of that. Is that from the time Ibanez was still a brand that copied he more expensive popular brands like Fender? Heard they started out as that. Heard it were really good guitars back then. Got a copy of a Martin by Ibanez somewhere... Not my favourite acoustic guitar though. Not gonna upload my acoustic guitars btw. Not metal.
No, Matsumoku was a Japanese manufacturing company from c. 1900 -1987. They started as a woodworking business that made furniture, but mid 50's they start to build instruments like violins and guitars for other companies like Vox, Guyatone, FujiGen Gakki, Kanda Shokai (Greco), Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez), Nippon Gakki (Yamaha), Aria and Norlin (parent company of Gibson). They had very good luthiers and it became apparent later on that the best guitars of serveral companies were actually build by Matsumoku. Early Ibanez guitars build in their own factory were of poor quality i must say; once had an early 70's SG that sucked bad....
