You delivered on your promise. Great stuff ! He is one of my favorites. This man was so genuine and true to the scene. He was always about the fans and the music. A true icon and well beyond legendary status. He will continue to inspire and now resides in the halls of the Metal Gods ! Oh yeah, kick-ass posters by the way. The 2nd poster is my fave.
Well I finally got the "Holy Diver" black light poster and decided I better start digging through my stuff for you, ha! I stumbled on several things that I didn't even remember having like this 2nd 8 page poster from Metal Hammer. I probably have more that will turn up here and there. Wish I still had my "Holy Diver" concert shirt. I saw some pretty cool tours for a 13 year old kid and "Holy Diver" was one of them. And like you mentioned before, Vivian Campbell was awesome to see back in those early days. You should hear what he has to say about how badly he got F'd over during those years in DIO. More soon my friend.
Yea, it's a sad and unfortunate story, so I wouldn't recommend reading it. As an adult I try to simply cherish the music and memories of how it made me feel at the time of discovery because many of my childhood heroes are no longer my heroes.
Thanks man, I have total respect for Vivian as a guitar player and human being. I have listened to many interviews regarding what happened to him in the early days. I think he is an honest and humble guy and I wish him well.
Yea, it's been so many years ago now it's practically like a dream or distant memory but I was fortunate enough to see the first three DIO tours with Vivian Campbell when I was a kid. He was such a significant part of the band and music. I never really followed DIO after Vivian.

Will definitely keep an eye open. Never like to hear negative things regarding musicians royalties. Hopefully Ronnie James wasn't part of it.

Another excellent collection!
On the topic of DIOs former guitarist, Vivian has taken a lot of that back in recent years. I think seeing Ronnie die of cancer and then finding out he has it himself has given him a different perspective on life. https://www.iheart.com/content/2018-07-17-vivian-campbell-says-his-feud-...

100% agree. I consider it an honor to have been able to see both of them play live. Ronnie with DIO and Vivian with Def Leppard.
