Unnumbered, 330x330mm sized print. Signed by the artist.
I bought this at one of Dan's exhibitions some years ago, but haven't gotten around to getting it framed until now.

Not for sale or trade

So awesome! It's weird seeing this without the Morbid Angel logo!

Lmao agreed, most album covers looks good without the band logo but this just looks weird without it.

Very nice! That's one thing I've noticed about getting older is appreciating the artwork of album covers more and more.

Indeed, the artwork is a bigger part of an albums identity than most people would like to admit. Or for that matter even take the time to think about.

For me, it's the most iconic Death Metal artwork of all time on the best death metal album of all time!!! Great piece to have in your collection!

It's a monumental and important album for sure. I'm personally more leaning towards Domination as my go-to Morbid Angel album, I'm just such a sucker for the experimental flare that album showcases.
But I must give Altars of Madness the higher score when it comes to pure intensity as well as the better artwork of the two albums mentioned. ^^

That's actually not a bad idea!
Making patches based solely on artwork(perhaps even not related to specific bands) I mean. I just wish it was woven, or at least professionally printed. I think it was Pull the Plug who had some patches based on paintings by Eugené Delacroix and Jean Delville(Incidentally the same painting Morbid angel used for their Blessed are the Sick album).

Niiiiice! I have always read this artwork two ways: One: it’s the earth floating in space - as intended? - OR Two: it’s something at the bottom of a well as the background looks like spiralling water. Might just be me though!
