Anyone know where to find a leather waistcoat that is short in length and not really thick leather like the biker ones. I cant find them anywhere only thick ones like I have already or ugly long ones.
Definitely vintage stores/charity shops, although their leathers come in around fall/winter. I totally understand something needing to feel totally right before buying, especially with vests, so for in-person shopping those are your best bet. Its worth asking the shopkeeps to keep an eye out for something that matches your description, they're usually happy to keep stuff behind for folks that'll use em
You could try Vinted or ebay, but shipping *might* bite you in the arse with how much leather weighs, only ever bought denim from both so can't confirm
I'm satisfied with Pull the Plug's faux leather vest if you're looking for one to sew/stud/paint, super lightweight and thin. A guy just listed an XL in the PTPP facebook group, if you can stomach shipping costs from America. Hope you find a good fit man🍻
