Motörhead Battle Jacket
This vest got started in 1991 or 1992, I can't remember exactly.
On it's very first version I had the Running wild Death Or Glory Adrian backpatch
on it. I kept on collecting patches and assembling and reassebling.
I got totally blasted when I saw Iced Earth for the first time live on the Burnt Offerings
Tour in 1995. I changed to a unique self made IE Sormrider backpatch in 1996 or so.
I didn't use this vest for a while after IE changed their musical direction and vocalist.
It just didn't feel right.
It took some time to realize that it did not feel right because of the backpatch. I started thinking
about reassemling and most of all what bachpatch to use. Finally I decided not to use a backpatch again, I wanted to have have a big variety of small patches, I wanted to be able to have as much bands as possible on it.
At the moment I'm really happy about this vest and I don't go to concerts without it.

Thanks, I used to have a backpatch for many years. The backpatch was just too big, I wanted to use the space for more small ones.
I deconstruced and remade it svereal times.

That Metal Church on the back wasn't a patch, I think it was a headband, maybe 4x60 cm.
I made it a patch cause I never found a Metal Church patch I really liked.

This is the finest jacket I ever seen, the patches are all a hard to find indeed, and really good taste too, that HEADLESS CROSS patch is awesome, i have it too and is not a easy one to find
