I see. There's quite a lot of these shops then is there? A few years ago in the UK a high street shop called Top Man started selling Motorhead and Maiden inspired shirts. That annoyed the piss out of me.

I think its the fact that most kids that shop there, at least at the one near me, are mostly stupid trendy deathcore kids and they sell 90% deathcore shirts. Then you find out the kids that buy the Iron Maiden, Metallica, slayer, and all the good shirts don't even like that band, they just like how it looks so they're posers.

Can I just ask here, what is so wrong with hot topic and why do people keep banging on about it? It's a shop yes, and it sells metal stuff as far as i can gather from their website. What's the problem with it? Oh and early Cradle albums are good. Principles of Evil Made Flesh and From Dusk and Her Embrace are black metal. Admittedly these days they're more like a goth Iron Maiden, but that's still metal.

Yes they are metal, but they suck. I find no redeeming qualities about them at all. And their fan base is entirely made of poser hot topic kids, just like other bands such as Slipknot and Dragonforce.
