My buddy and I are traveling from the US to Obscene Extreme this year for the first time. Curious if any experienced attendees have any general advice/what to expect at the festival?
We’re traveling on a tight budget so just a carry-on on the flight and hoping to buy a tent in Trutnov lol. Also curious how the lockbox system works cause I don’t want to lose all my shit lmao.
Are you going to rent a car? If not i would recommend you to get a vip section(camp) for tents and a lockerbox for valuables (in the lockerbox you can easy get around 20+lps and other stuff). If you will not get a vip camp. Try to find someone with car to store the stuff in the car. Dont leave anything(i only leave my sleeping bag and thats it) in the tent because when you come back the stuff is going to be missing. This is the most important tip i can give you.
From the festival to the city center (town) is around 15-20mins of walking. You can get anything in Albert store (i think they should have tents also).
Buy some stuff for the rain and bring some warm clothes (i remember a couple of years ago it was 5 degrees in the morning) or be up until the sun comes up.
Otherwise, at the festival, you have only vegan food. Across the street is a gas station and they make burgers with meat and you can also get goulash.

I went with some friends from Australia in 2018, like the wise Doctor said, expect fun.
there is a few camping spots along the way if your driving so getting a tent is easy
Get there early, we got there late and its shit setting up a tent in the dark
make sure you see Gutalax... bring a blow up toy if you can fit it in your carry on.
I got a feeling this will be the last one. So just have fun !
