I was just wondering, how are you guys on cutting the collar off your battle jacket.
Why would you or wouldn't you do that? I saw all these jackets when I noticed some didn't have one, why?

This is not the first time it has come up actually.
I'm about to cut mine off because it's fucked up and won't sit down right, but I'm pretty sure most people cut theirs off so they don't have two collars when wearing leather.
I've found it looks good on levis jacket because the seam is thick, but on other brands the seam is thin and doesn't look good after you cut it, also if your on the fence about doing it, if your kutte fits then don't do it because it makes it much baggier.
Kept mine and it never had any problems 'cause the collar covers the one of the leather jacket without looking stupid. It also gave me space for 3 more patches.
I also prefer the way a Kutte looks with a collar.
1. To SHOW and not to give "more space" because of the patches being covered by the collar.
2. To give it a leather vest touch or feel.
3. So you can wear in over a leather jacket (I don't practice this)
4. Not everyone is a fan of collars.
5. Collars aren't really "kvlt" for some of us.
6. Sometimes collars stick up when you put your kutte on an it's really annoying.
7. Feels good on the neck to not have a collar (says me)
8. So that the kutte could be COMPLETELY covered in patches and pins.
9. It depends on the brand of the jackets sometimes. I like Levi's jackets better and will more likely not take off the collar.
I did it to my main kutte but I'm not gonna do it to my 2nd one, I did it because it looks better on it sine I'm going for a all covered dirty jacket haha the other one is gonna me more "clean"
