Slayer Third Jacket - Thrash Metal Battle Jacket - 99% finished - James Hetfield inspired
This is my 3rd Battle Jacket. After 2 years, without an update...jeez it's been a long time.
I wanted to create a Thrash band-only jacket and found an original Megadeth Large back patch from the album Rust in Peace (which is one of my fav metal albums)! The large patch was coming apart so I went to the fabric shop and found some thick black fabric. I then glued the original Megadeth patch to the thick black fabric.
Left the top front room for some smaller patches and pins. Added black cone studs (English 77s tall) - just like Jamez! \m/ \m/
Also, got a custom name patch "Ed" just in case someone mistakes my jacket for theirs LoL & in case people didn't know, I have a metalhead badge I picked off ebay to remind non-metal folk know I am a metalhED! \m/
I have my eye on an Angelus Apatrida patch which I might add soon
Also looking for a patch that just says "THRASH"

The Slayer skull patch, I picked this up at Slayer's final show May 2018. It was 3 patches = $20 CDN.

Metallica patch is a 'second' from the Creeping Death album. This back patch had printing ink problems so the store sold as is for 1/2 price. The material is light T-shirt material. I bought some hard backing and glued this cut out onto the backing.
