My old horse leather jacket. Handed down to me from my dad and has a thick patina of dirt covering it as a result of its extended use. The Dead Kennedys pin and guitar pick both came from when I saw them with T.S.O.L., MDC, and the Dwarves on I believe the Fortieth anniversary tour. The T.S.O.L. patches are from a shirt I purchased at the same show that was torn to shreds/outgrown. The Cadillac Tramps painting represents not only one of my favorite Orange county bands of all time, but also one of the artists that were introduced to me which got me into Punk and hence metal in the first place. Reagan Youth painting despite its warped and contorted nature is meant to be a sort of stencil of the Punk Rock New York artwork, which as bad as it turned out I keep for its quirks. The Anti-Nowhere League patch was purchased at a Punk Rock Flea Market headlined by T.S.O.L. with the Avengers in support. The Bad Brains patch is a free hand DIY made to resemble the S/T artwork, and also ripped off the placement of a triangular patch on one of the sleeves of Johnny Knoxville's leather. The hole in the shoulder just happened gradually over time, whether from lack of conditioning or incessant falls in the pit; patched with some scrap leather and a leather shoe lace, along with some coral from Kaui threaded betwixt. The back patch is just an old shirt, adequately resembling some form of art from The Exploited but in all reality chosen because the shirt needed to be retired and I thought it fit the jacket. The bonus little Black Flag shapes are cut from one the first patches I ever bought. Apologies for the long running backstory, looking at this jacket and its history just brings back memories of good times from some of my first concerts. At this point, no new additions are planned and any changes in appearance would have to come from a major change in opinion about an artist or finding a new band that blows my dick off; but isn't that the narrative we always tell ourselves!

Thanks man, gotta love first wave hardcore. As long as they didn't straight up steal from other bands in the scene haha (Looking at you Ian McKaye).
