The Who My Classic Rock Vest (Finally Complete!!!)
Thu, 13/03/2014 - 03:11After a year of work, my first vest (classic rock vest) is finally complete!!!! I couldn't find any patches to fill in certain areas so out of the blue today I decided to draw up the Van Halen logo and the BOC logo. I know not all of the bands are "classic rock" (Minor Threat, Sleep, Rammstein, etc.) but they're bands enjoy. The signatures are from Eddie Trunk (That Metal Show) and Foghat.

i am sXe too, but i still get loads of beer from others over me at gigs. quite funny was when i replaced some patches from one jacket to another and smelled some of them out of curiosity... they actualy smelled like beer. and that couln't have been mine.

Buddy, don't be so critical! While I agree that the vest itself looks a little odd, the patches and layout are great! If he likes the bands, then who cares? Besides, such comments shouldn't be coming from a guy with 5 patches on his jacket.

Uhuh! He got his patches from eBay, no trve-kvlt-vintage patches which cost a fortune. Oh, come on, please tell me more how many rare obscure and expensive patches you had when you were his age...
And as said, I don't like the layout and the vest, but the Van Halen drawing and quite a bunch of KISS-stuff somehow got me.
Well, I don't get what you like about commenting on other's opinions - oh, well, I forgot yours is the only valid one. Please excuse my ignorance!

ive got ebay patches, stuff that is rarer and had to fight for. i also have some common shit but ill probably never use em when i can fill it up with cooler shit. i thought these things were supposed to be personal and look badass. i dont think this vest in particular is very rough looking at all, its not even a kutte, but if everyone has the same patches as you it doesnt feel very personal

I've never seen anyone with that Sabotage patch. Everyone goes for Paranoid or Vol. 4 but Sabotage is my favorite record. Never seen anyone with a Pat Benatar anything. One of the best singers ever. Never seen any vest with The Beatles. Never seen a vest signed by Foghat. Yeah, this is pretty personal to me.
