Iron Maiden Dedication Battle Vest - Classic Patches version (nr. 1)

Currently this is my favorite battle vest, my Maiden dedication jacket 🤘😄🤘 I'm extremely happy how the back turned out 😍 The front still has two open spots at the chest which are reserved for two vintage tour patches, namely: UK 1980 tour and Number of the Beast tour. I hope one day to be able to sew these patches on there and finish this jacket. If not, it gives me some opportunity to put some of my vintage Maiden pins there 🤗

As someone who's only 2 Maiden patches (X Factor and No Prayer) away from having every one I want on a Maiden dedication jacket I feel your pain, but I'm glad you're getting good use out of yours. Hope you get the two you're missing soon dude

So you are also making a Maiden dedication vest? I love Maiden (in case you haven't noticed 🤪) and dedication vests, so I can't wait to see yours 😄
I also hope that soon I can add those two missing patches, but those are very rare, so maybe it will resort to vintage Pins to truly finish this vest.

I'll have to start the Maiden one eventually and just plan where I'll put the replacements I'll (hopefully) get, but I got so annoyed at how hard it was finding some rare Maiden patches I started collecting AC/DC ones and I've almost finished a dedication vest for them.

I'll probably go nuts & do a Motorhead one as well since I've already got the backpatch & rare ones I want for that too.

Oh yeah, this one is very nice my friend 🔥 Love the row of circle patches at the top and you’ve got some of the best Maiden pieces on there 🤘

Yes, that's exactly the kind of thing that takes a lot of time: thinking about the layout. I'm struggling with mine to see the best layout, but I still can't decide which one I like most hahaha

Hahahaha...the struggles of a Heavy Metal Maniac 🤪 This is the reason why I decided to make multiple vest 😅 You can keep reconsidering the lay-out but no vest is perfect. I also don't feel like swapping around patches for the next 10 years to go from 95% happiness to 97%.
I like making vests and jackets. It's a real nice hobby for me. I get myself a cup of tea (How Metal! 🤘🤪🤘), put on some metal, and start sewing without any hurry or pressure. Great way for me to disconnect.
