From North Carolina. Love tons of bands, and I've been to way too many concerts to count. Been collecting band shirts since middle school... I have spent far too much on band merch. But I will spend more!
First show I ever went to was Slayer/Suicidal Tendencies/Exodus when I was 14. I went with my dad and he caught one of Paul Bostaph's drumsticks! Still have it to this day. My first festival was Carolina Rebellion, which was alright. The only other festival I've been to was Fire in the Mountains at Wyoming back in 2018. Drove around 33 hours to get there with two of my buddies (camped along the way to the festival, but marathoned the ENTIRE drive back home... probably not the greatest choice) and I had the time of my life. Everyone was so chill. I made so many friends, met the bands, and saw the most beautiful sights I've ever seen in person. The Teton Mountain Range was off in the distance, and every morning I'd unzip the tent and have an amazing view of them. Pictures don't do it justice. The trip and the festival iself was honestly a life-changing experience. I'll treasure those memories for the rest of my life.
