Cool shirt man. I loved the artwork direction on X-Factor, but the music nearly killed me!

So no big fan of the Blaze era i guess?!
Personally i really like the X-Factor album but Virtual is abit weak, a few good tracks on it to though.
Great shirt by the way :)!

I was 21 when it came out. After 9 yrs of devout worship, the realisation that my gods has created something I didn't like was heart breaking lol. I listened hard to that album, right up to the end of 95, then...I haven't since!
Maiden should have at least written in lower keys to accommodate Blaze's voice IMO. Nothing against the man - I like Blaze's stuff and I like him, just didn't work for me in Maiden.

Totally agree with you daniel sodomaniac
Fuggle74, my goodfella, I think you're right on the lower key thing, but I love this album anyway hehehe

Thanks, guys!
I actually quite like X Factor. I think we can all agree that Blaze is no Bruce, but he's a good singer and X Factor is a solid metal album and better than 99% of anything else that was out in 1995. . .Fuggle - you should give it another chance and be open-minded!
I remember when 7th Son first came out, on my first listen to Moonchild I HATED it, with that synth intro - right after Bruce went on a rant during the Somewhere in Time tour saying that Maiden would NEVER sell out and use synth. . .I felt like I'd been betrayed! But of course after a few listens I fell in love with the record.
Daniel - agree- Virtual XI is much weaker than X Factor, but there are a few good tracks. I think Virtual is definitely the weakest Maiden album overall musically.
