Weird Metallica tanktop
Thu, 28/05/2026 - 11:51Bootleg I think? Idk. So I was walking through the center of the city I used to live in in a black hoodie. I had miscalculated the weather and was dying of the heat. So I saw this white tanktop that says Metallica on it for 2eu. Took it because of the weather and the price lol. But honestely never seen their logo like this so prob a boot? or something else weird.

So this is official metallica merch? Just curious, because I've never seen that design too. But when I think of that late 90's designs between Reload and St. Anger it could actually fit. Love the story too and for 2 €, it's a no-brainer haha

I can't tell if this specific shirt is official or bootleg, but the "Nor Cal" design is officially licensed to the band.
Definitely a no brainer considering the price and the situation OP was in!
