Century Media is not and never was a black metal label as we all know, same with Nuclear Blast. Part of bands identity always gets lost, bend and censored. A cobbler should stick to his lasts!

RC were a bit desperate back then ( as their bassist stole the money Osmose sent for a new album and they were kicked off ) and they signed with the first label they had the chance , they regretted it not long after
